Mustafa Suphi His last name is Yeşilyurt. He was officially recorded as born in Ordu on February 29,1969. In fact, he was born in Feriköy, Istanbul on March 18,1968. He signed some of his work published in journals as Suna Yurt and Orhan Gökçe. He worked in the newspaper industry as a journalist, author and editor for about ten years. He was active in the entertainment industry, also. His first poem entitled “Açım” (I am hungry) was published in Tribün Newspaper in Ordu in 1987. He has published numerous poems, articles and writings in a number of journals and newspapers. When his first poetry book was published in Ordu, it was banned at first and only eventually was declared legal. He produced and presented art and literature programs on radio. He performed as an actor in about twenty films of which only two were theatrically released. His screenplay entitled Zampara Seyfi (Seyfi, The Player) was filmed by Ünal Küpeli, a celebrated director, and shown on a highly popular TV channel, STAR TV, in 1997. He lives in New York and writes a column contemplating American Literature for a Turkish newspaper. He has been working on three novels: “The Lost Man”, “The Suicide” and “The Pitch and the Pendulum” and an anthology of railroad-themed poems entitled “Poems with a Train Passing Through.” He was one of the founders of the journal Insancıl (The Humanist). He edited the Turkish division of Dergi, a journal published by Kiebitz Cultural Center, Duisburg, Germany. He was a contributing editor of Utopia, a culture and art journal. He was briefly the editor in chief of Esmer, a popular culture and art journal. He is a member of The Authors' Union Of Turkey, The Professional Association of Creators of Scientific and Literary Works and Turkish PEN. |

Su apellido es Yesilyurt. Sin embargo, ha grabado a nacer en Ordu con fecha de febrero de 29,1969 cccording a los documentos oficiales que nació en Feriköy, Estambul con fecha de marzo de 18,1968. A veces utiliza el nick de nombres Suna Yurt y Orhan Gökçe en algunas revistas. Solía trabajar en Bab-I Ali como periodista, autor y editor de aproximadamente diez años. Él solía trabajar en la industria del entretenimiento durante un tiempo determinado. Su primer poema denominado ACIM (tengo hambre) fue presionado en Tribun Nwespaper de Ordu en 1987.
